Yolanda Ramirez

Yolanda Ortiz Ramirez, 61, of Beeville, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010. She was born to Marcelo M. and Lucia Elizalde Ortiz in Beeville on March 30, 1948. She married Daniel Ramirez in St. James Catholic Church in Beeville on Oct. 25, 1969. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Ramirez was preceded in death by her father, Marcelo M. Ortiz. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Ramirez of Beeville; one daughter, Linda Mae (Victor) Gomez of Beeville; one sister, Sylvia Molina of Austin; her mother, Lucia Ortiz of Beeville; two grandchildren, Benjamin Javier Gomez and Matthew Alejandro Gomez; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Friday from 1 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary was said at 7 p.m. Friday, also at Angelus Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (today) at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Eddie Garcia officiating. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Santiago Camacho, Tommy Camacho, Wally Camacho, Joe Garza, Ysaac Elizalde Jr. and Jaime Morón. Honorary pallbearers will be Victor Gomez, Benjamin Javier Gomez, Matthew Gomez, Benjamin Garza and Nicolas Garza.
