Vivian Dickinson

Vivian Christine (Rothlisberger) Dickinson, 86, of Beeville, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012. Mrs. Dickinson was born April 4, 1926, in Beeville to Eunice Issacks and Victor Rothlisberger. She married Willie Edwin Dickinson and was a retired librarian from the Bee County Public Library. She was a member of First Baptist Church and volunteered in the church library and the church nursery. She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Rothlisberger; her mother, Eunice Issacks Holubec; Husband, Willie Edwin Dickinson, step-father, William "Bill" Holubec; and a son, David Dickinson. Survivors include a daughter, Deborah (Bill) Siddon of Beeville; a son, Donald (Carole) Dickinson of Alice; grandchildren, Cindy Simon, Keith Siddon and Leslie Newberry; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Edwin Rothlisberger of Odem, Larry Holubec and Garry Holubec, both of Skidmore, and Gerald Holubec of Tynan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at Angelus Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted there Saturday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Greg Traylor officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Gary Maisel, Terry Breaux, Jason McGriff and Wayne McGriff.
