Tammy Kay Fox, age 61, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2024. Born on February 21, 1962, in Portsmouth, VA, Tammy was a loving wife, mother, and a true pillar of her community.
In 1995, Tammy married James Fox at Veterans Park in Beeville, TX, and they shared a beautiful life. Known as "MY Mule Headed Woman" by her husband, Tammy's fiery nature and strong-headedness were matched only by her immense love and compassion for others.
Tammy had a heart of gold and was always there to lend a helping hand. She opened her home to numerous friends, nephews, and even a grandson, providing them with a safe and loving environment when they needed it most. Her selflessness extended beyond her family, as she made generous donations throughout her community during Christmas time, ensuring that those in need felt the warmth and joy of the season.
Tammy will be remembered as a mother to everyone, someone who always put others before herself. Her legacy of kindness, love, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Tammy Kay Fox was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Shreve Sr. and Dorris (Brown) Shreve.
She leaves behind a loving husband, James Fox; her two daughters, Christina Householder and Octavia Nicole Mirelli; a son, Hillary McCallister, Four siblings, Donald Shreve Jr., James Shreve, Cindy Geiger and Brandon (Tyke) Michel; along with several nieces and nephews; and her grandchildren and a multitude of cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
