Sheila Dunlap

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sheila Dunlap, 68, on July 1, 2024. Born on May 28, 1956, Sheila was a beacon of joy and laughter, known for her radiant energy and the warmth she brought into the lives of her family.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Welton Dunlap II, with whom she shared over 40 cherished years of marriage. She was the co-owner of Pest X-Terminator and Cycleworks as well as Office Manager of both local businesses. She was a loving mother to her sons and a caring mother-in-law.

As a beloved Grammy, Sheila showered her grandchildren with boundless love and unforgettable stories. Her Christian faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her. Sheila was known for her ability to make people laugh with her open and candid nature, along with her knack for storytelling. Her legacy of love, laughter, and faith will forever remain in our hearts.

Sheila is survived by her sons, Raymond Welton Dunlap III and James Dunlap, their spouses, Amanda Dunlap and Cortney Dunlap, and her grandchildren, Kirstee Belle Dunlap, Kacee Blu Dunlap, Zoe Anne Dunlap, Sadie Marie Dunlap, Emma Grace Gibson, Gadston Ryan McGary, and Oliver Greyson McGary.

A small service will be held for Sheila amongst her family to honor her life.
