Senaida Soliz

Senaida Alaniz Soliz, 77, passed away on July 20, 2014, in Tyler, Tx. She was born on April 24, 1937, to the late Manuel Alaniz and Matilde Suniga Alaniz in Clareville, TX. She will be sadly missed. Senaida married her dear husband Mauricio R. Soliz in Beeville, Texas on December 23, 1951. She loved her church and was a member of Church of Christ in Beeville. She was a loving mother and will be remembered for the love of her children. She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband who passed on April 10, 2010, Mauricio R. Soliz; and her siblings, Edward Alaniz, Richard Benavidez, Ernesto Zapata, Maria Zambrano, and Juana Garcia. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter; Eva Medina Lee (Jim) of Tyler, TX, sons; Manuel S. Soliz (Sylvia) of Beeville, TX; and Mauricio Soliz (Melinda) of Cincinnati, OH; 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, and Debbie Garcia (JR) of Seguin, TX whom she helped raise. Also surviving her are her sisters Consuelo Gomez (Jesse) of Portland, TX and Eva (Jr.) Chapa of Beeville, TX, and her beloved pet dog companion Milo. Visitation is Friday, July 25, 2014, at Angelus Funeral Home Chapel from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. this evening. A funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Angelus Funeral Home Chapel at 10 a.m. Interment followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Pallbearers are Jesse Medina, Buck Ely, Eulalio Sandoval III, Mark Anthony Vaughn Sr. Epi Dominguez, Joseph Abrigo, James Garcia and Richard Vaughn Jr.
