Sara (Longoria) Ochoa

Sara H. (Longoria) Ochoa, 92, peacefully passed away on April 11, 2024, at her home in Beeville, Texas. She was a kind and warm-hearted woman.
 
Sara was born on May 12, 1931, in Beeville to the late Sara (Hinojosa) Longoria and Julian Longoria Sr.  She was a retired retail clerk for Perry's Department Store in Beeville. She found great joy in gardening and nurturing the beauty of nature throughout her lifetime. Sara was of the Catholic faith.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Margarito Ochoa; her brother-in-law, Jesus Garcia; and a niece, Mary Lou G. Minjares.
 
Sara is survived by her sister, Amelia L. Garcia; brother, Julian (Dalia) Longoria; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives who will cherish her memory forever.
 
Services to honor and celebrate Sara's life will be held at Angelus Funeral Home in Beeville with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 12, followed by the Rosary to be recited at 7 o’clock that evening.
 
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, at Angelus Funeral Home with Father Jacob Valayath officiating.
 
 Burial will follow in the San Pedro Cemetery in Clareville.
