Ruben Moreno

Ruben Moreno, 78, of Beeville, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015. Mr. Moreno was born April 7, 1936, in Beeville to Jesusa Jaramillo and Julio Moreno. He was an independent truck driver and a member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lydia Castillo Moreno; a granddaughter, Daisy Ann Adams; and a sister; Delia Farias. Survivors include his children, Noe (Linda)Moreno, Roy Moreno and Leticia (Ruben) Perez, all of Beeville; grandchildren, Gerard Moreno, Adrian Perez, Albert Lee Moreno and Isabella Ross Perez; one great-grandchild, Aristyn Moreno; and a sister, Olga Gonzales of Corpus Christi. Visitation was held Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A Rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass was conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Burial followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Angelus Funeral Home
