Ronald Blair

Ronald "Ron" Wayne Blair, 55, of Beeville, died Sunday, October, 9, 2016. Ron was born May 14, 1961, in Pecos, Texas, to Marvene and Jimmy Blair. He attended AC Jones High School and went on to get an associate's degree in accounting from Victoria Junior College. He survived a diving accident at age 16, that resulted in him becoming a quadriplegic. Regardless, Ron loved life to the fullest. He remained a constant inspiration to family, friends and anyone that was blessed to know him. Ron had an amazing sense of humor and enjoyed music, movies, reading and being with friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Blair; his paternal grandparents, Louie and Vernie Blair of Oklahoma; and his maternal grandfather, Raymond Harris of New Mexico. Survivors include his mother, Marvene Blair of Beeville; maternal grandmother, Fern Harris of New Mexico; sister, Lori (Joe) Garcia of Beeville; brother, Robert "Bobby" Blair of Corpus Christi; and niece, April Taylor of Beeville. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 11a.m. at Angelus Funeral Home, with Bishop David Wyble officiating. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park.
