Reyes Cano

Reyes Sanchez Cano, 67, of Beeville, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Mr. Cano was born Sept. 22,1944, in Beeville to Maria Sanchez and Santiago Cano. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Monte Del Olivar Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Cano and Maria Sanchez, and a sister. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Ray Cano (Veronica Cortez) and Mark Anthony Cano (Isabelle Rodriguez), both of Beeville; a daughter, Jennifer (Jesse) Keller of San Antonio; a step-daughter, Maggie Reyes (Kahari) Cooper of Corpus Christi; five brothers, Prajedes Salazar of Houston, Joe Salazar of Austin, Eugene Cano of Refugio, Juan Cano of Beeville and Guadalupe Cano of Victoria; and five sisters, Susie Cartagena, Audelia Gonzalez and Leanor Cano, all of Beeville, Esmeralda Castle of Indiana and Maria Cecilia Perez of Refugio. Visitation was held Monday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. The funeral service was conducted there that evening at 7 o'clock with Rev. Isaac De Los Santos officiating. Pallbearers were his grandchildren, Justin Cano, Gabriella Cano, John Gabriel Cano, Abigail Cano, Marissa Keller, Matthew Keller, Jurnee Nicole Cano and Jared Ray Elizalde. Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Rodriguez, Roman Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez and Victoria Rodriguez. Angelus Funeral Home
