Ramon Arambulo Chapa, 69, of Beeville, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019.
Mr. Chapa was born August 17, 1949, in Beeville to Alicia (Arambulo) and Refugio Chapa Sr. He was a heavy equipment operator, a Catholic and a Dallas Cowboys football fan. He loved his three grand-dogs: Bubbles, Cozmo and Butters.
Ramon was preceded in death by his parents, Alicia and Refugio Chapa Sr.; four brothers, Refugio Chapa Jr., Jerry Chapa, Ezequiel Chapa and Baby Boy Chapa; two sisters, Felicita Gutierrez and Refugia Cucita Chapa.
He is survived by his children, Angela (Justin) Anderson of Ullyses, Kansas, Raymond (Leonora) Chapa of Victoria, Enriquez Lee (Crystal) Chapa of San Antonio, Veronica C. (Michael) Frizzell of Cibolo, Refugio Chapa III of Beeville and Felicia Chapa of Austin; 26 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Lucy (Pepe) Cisneros and Mary (Juan) Villa, Yolanda Cortez of Beaumont and Esther Garcia of San Antonio.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 10, at Angelus Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville.
The funeral service will be conducted there at 7 p.m. that evening.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 11, at 11 a.m. at Beeville Memorial Park.
