Pedro Garcia, 93, of Beeville, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016. Mr. Garcia was born July 24, 1923, in Beeville to Refugia Castaneda and Felicito Garcia. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and married Juanita DeLaRosa Garcia in Beeville on Feb. 20, 1946. Retired from the railroad, he worked for B.A. Box in the oil field and also specialized in game hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juanita D. Garcia; brothers, Pablo and Jose Garcia; and sisters, Estela Garcia, Panchita Moya and Adelina Flores. Survivors include six children, Ernesto (Eloisa) Garcia of Kenedy, Gloria Garcia and Rolando (Carmen) Garcia, both of Beeville, Diana (Robert) Guerrero of Missouri City, Pedro (Maria) Garcia Jr. of San Antonio and Jerry (Terry) Garcia of Pearland; a sister, Maria Ybarra of Tyler; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Angelus Funeral Home with a prayer service there that evening at 7 o'clock. A chapel service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept., 9, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in the Clareville Community. Pallbearers will be Ernesto Garcia, Rolando Garcia, Pedro Garcia Jr., Jerry Garcia, Rolando Garcia Jr. and Robert Guerrero Jr. Angelus Funeral Home
