Mary Deloach

Mary Anne Barnhart Burke Deloach, 95, formerly of Beeville, died Monday, June 26, 2017, at her home in Goliad County. Mrs. Deloach was born Dec. 2, 1921, in Fort Worth, to Joseph and Esther Barnhart. She was a member of the Rosetta Club, Daughters of the Republic of Texas and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Joseph E. Burke and Ralph I. Deloach; two sons, John P. and Timothy J. Burke; and two brothers, Dr. Joe M. Barnhart and John N. Barnhart. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Burke Murphy of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a son, Stephen E. Burke of Dripping Springs; four grandchildren, Dr. Jason Murphy, Max Murphy, Ellen Esther Knox and Anne C. Burke; and two great-granddaughters. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 29, at Angelus Funeral Home chapel in Beeville. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, June 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beeville. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
