Mark Anthony Cano went home to be with Lord on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
Mark was born on April 4, 1972 in Houston, Texas to Eva Aguirre and Reyes Cano. He was a proud and faithful member of Kingsway Church, where he was deeply involved in their monthly food bank among other church functions. He loved being of service and offered a lending hand to all who were in need. His fun and hilarious personality filled any room he walked into and his laugh was contagious. He loved the Lord so deeply and would spend hours in His word. He was definitely one of a kind.
Mark was preceded to glory by his father, Reyes Cano; mother, Eva Aguirre; daughter, Jurnee Cano; paternal grandparents, Santiago and Maria Cano; and maternal grandmother, Manuela Benavidez.
Those left to cherish and reflect on the memories left behind include his wife, Isabelle Cano; two stepsons, Roland (Sara) Rodriguez and Robert Rodriguez; stepdaughter, Victoria Rodriguez; two grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Cano; sisters, Jennifer (Jesse Keller) and Maggie (Khari) Cooper; Dad, Joe Reyes; a nephew who he shared a deep bond with, Justin (Bea) Cano; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Mark will be greatly missed not only by his family and friends but by the community he so greatly loved to help.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, September 11 with a memorial service from 6 to 9 p.m. at Kingsway Church with Pastor Isaac De Los Santos officiating.
