Maria Ybarra

Maria (Salinas) Ybarra, 66, of Beeville, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017. Mrs. Ybarra was born July 28, 1951, in Beeville to Paula (Vasquez) and Juan Salinas. She finished high school and married Julian Ybarra in Beeville on Dec. 11, 2010. She was a retired CNA and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Paula Salinas; her husband, Julian Ybarra; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Sandra Salinas; and two brothers, Samuel Salinas and Jose Castillo. Survivors include three daughters, Angie (Jose) Esparza, Michelle Salinas Velasquez and Natalie (Walter) Munoz; a son, Eloy (Dahlia) Vasquez; five sisters, Olga (Inosencio) Vasquez, Gloria (Felipe) Ybarra, Rosa (Roberto Munoz) Garza, Connie (Ernesto) Leal and Lupita Carabajal; three brothers, Ramiro (Amelia) Castillo, Juan Salinas and Mike (Reyes) Ramos; and 15 grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited there this evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 21, at 2 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Paul Kottackal officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Pallbearers will be Manuel Vasquez, Gilbert Anthony Lee Herrera, Mario Velasquez Jr., Mario Velasquez, Henry Hernandez Jr. and Rey Teran.
