Maria Lozano

Maria Cantu Lozano, 71, of Beeville, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013. Ms. Lozano was born March 13, 1942, in Bayside to Victoria Cantu Moya and Claudio Lozano Sr. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudio Lozano Sr. and Victoria Cantu Moya; a daughter, Mary Alice Alvarado; a sister, Jesusa Perez; and four brothers, Juan Lozano, Beto Lozano, Claudio Lozano Jr., and Domingo Lozano. Survivors include a son, Ernest (Sonia) Alvarado of Beeville; three daughters, Sylvia (Martin) Perez of Beeville, Rebecca Blaker of Corpus Christi and Mary Colunga of Houston; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov, 21, at Angelus Funeral Home with a prayer service there at 7 o'clock. A graveside service will be held Friday, Nov. 22, at 2:30 p.m. at Cementerio Evangelico with Rev. Salvador P. Rincon Jr. officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Villarreal, Ernest Alvarado, Aaron Shirley, Roger Blaker III, Dillan Blaker, Jesse Garcia, Martin Perez and Christopher Segura. Angelus Funeral Home
