Maria Garcia

Maria Belia (Garcia) Garcia, 76, of Beeville, died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011. Mrs. Garcia was born March 20, 1935, in Clareville to Tomas and Aurora (Gomez) Garcia. She married Anastacio Garcia in Beeville on March 20, 1952, and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and the Cursillistas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anastacio Garcia; her parents, Tomas and Aurora Garcia,; two brothers, Rudolfo Garcia and Pedro Garcia; and one great-granddaughter, Danielle Nadine Trevi�o. Survivors include two daughters, Viola (Joe) Gonzales of Houston and Velma Garcia of Beeville; four grandchildren, Joe Gonzales Jr., Joset Torres, Jason Anthony Trevi�o and Albert Puente; 13 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a brother Ramon Garcia of Beeville; and three sisters, Lily (Anastacio) Delgado and Toni (Elizar) Guerrero, both of Beeville, and Beatrice (Manuel) DelaRosa of Snyder. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Reverend Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Pallbearers will be Joe Gonzales Jr., Joe Gonzales III, Jose Ramon Torres Jr., Jose Ramon Torres III, Jason Trevi�o and Albert Puente.
