Lisa Lopez

 Lisa Lopez, 59, of Beeville, Texas sadly passed away Monday, January 13, 2025, at her residence.

Lisa was born December 24, 1965, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Antonio and Julia Lopez.

She enjoyed 20 years working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was dedicated to her patients. Lisa loved all her family; her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Lisa was high-spirited; she always had the right words and a compassionate spirit when needed. She loved to tell stories of her life, all the places she had traveled but her favorite stories were of her grandchildren and children. Lisa had a great love for animals, she was a sharp dresser who took pride in her appearance and was unforgettable. She was always ready to help anyone in need in any way she could, she believed in paying it forward. Lisa’s faith was strong, as she walked in faith and accepted Christ in her heart. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Ibarra Lopez and Julia Alaniz Lopez; and two brothers, Tony Lopez III and Steve Lopez.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer (Ron) Voss; a son, Jacob Joseph (Stella) Maldonado; five grandchildren, Amber Maldonado, Alazeigh Noel Maldonado, Joshua Brandon Maldonado, Jacob Joseph Maldonado Jr., Emmaleigh Maldonado; three brothers, Joe (Celia) Torres, Fernando (Martha) Lopez, Armando Lopez and partner Ruben Diaz; two sisters, Esperanza Salinas, and Blanca (Jesus) Monsibais; many friends; and her beloved pups, Canelo, Flaka, and Blacky.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, January 24, at Angelus Funeral Home with a prayer service at 2 o’clock with Pastor Luisa Jo Garza officiating.
