Juanita Osuna

Juanita Gonzales Osuna, 74, of Beeville, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009. She was born Nov. 24, 1935, to Reyes and Carlotta Rangel Gonzales in Kenedy. She married Juan Osuna in Beeville on April 18, 1951, and was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Mrs. Osuna was preceded in death by a son, Alcario Osuna; and a brother, Gabriel Gonzales. Survivors include her husband, Juan Osuna of Beeville; two daughters, Mary Jane Gomez and Irene (Pete) Salas, both of Beeville; three sons, Carlos (Cecilia) Osuna of Natalia, Mario (Evelyn) Osuna of San Antonio and John Phillip Martinez of Beeville; one sister, Cruz Perez of Brownfield, 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation was held Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday, also at Angelus Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church with Father Luke Thirunelliparambil officiating. Burial followed at Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Adriel Franco Osuna, Carlos Osuna Jr., Christopher Lee Osuna, Alcario Roy Osuna, David Guerra and Martin Reyna.
