Juanita Garcia

Juanita (DeLa Rosa) Garcia, 83, of Beeville, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013. Mrs. Garcia was born Aug. 11, 1930, in Berclair to Juan and Jacinta (Garcia) DeLa Rosa. She married Pedro Garcia in Beeville on Feb. 20, 1946, and was a homemaker and a member of Jehovah's Witness. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Diana Garcia; and two sisters, Felipa Martinez and Isabel Guerrero. Survivors include her husband, Pedro C. Garcia of Beeville; six children, Ernesto (Eloisa) Garcia of Kenedy, Gloria Garcia and Rolando (Carmen) Garcia, both of Beeville, Diana (Robert) Guerrero of Houston, Pedro (Maria) Garcia Jr. of San Antonio and Jerry (Terry) Garcia of Pearland; four sisters, Carmen Salazar of Victoria, Celia (Heraclio) Yzaguirre and Esperanza (Felipe) Garcia, both of Beeville, and Hortencia (Marcos) Gonzales of Bay City; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral service will be conducted there Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. with Elder Eli Guerrero officiating. Burial will follow in San Pedro Cemetery in the Clareville Community. Pallbearers will be Ernesto Garcia, Rolando Garcia, Pedro Garcia Jr., Jerry Garcia, Roland Garcia Jr. and Robert Guerrero Jr. Angelus Funeral Home
