Juan E. Munoz, 65, of Beeville, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2014. Mr. Munoz was born June 20, 1949, in Pettus to Evalista Esparza and Felix Pena. He married Zenaida Guajardo in Beeville on Oct. 29, 1987, and was an oil field foreman for Beck Brothers. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a Catholic and played with Country Calidad Band. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Zenaida Munoz of Beeville; six children, Esmeraldo "BJ" (Melissa) Sanchez and Eduardo Sanchez, both of Hondo, Marisol Barrera, Joe Henry (Brittany) Garcia and Juan Munoz Jr., all of Beeville, and Raquel Garcia of San Antonio; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; four sisters; and two brothers. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited there this evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Pallbearers will be Juan Munoz Jr., Eduardo Sanchez, Joe Henry Garcia Jr., Esmeraldo Sanchez III, Jacob Sanchez, Eleterio Guajardo, Ricardo Guajardo Sr. and Richard Cisneros. Honorary pallbearers will be Esmeraldo Sanchez Jr., Starr Zenaida Barrera, Danielle Sanchez, Sierra Trevino, Richard Guajardo Jr., Aurelio Guajardo Jr. and Jesus Guajardo. Angelus Funeral Home
