Herminia Segovia

Herminia "Minnie" Segovia, 85, of Beeville passed on July 17, 2017 at 6:15 p.m. Minnie was an RN who served the community by nursing for many years and worked with many doctors in Beeville. She first began with Dr. Lancaster, Dr. Miller, and Dr. McNeil serving these three physicians for many years before eventually working with Dr. Stark and Dr. Sprague. Mrs. Segovia was born on June 15, 1932 to Antonia (Fuentes) and Manuel Montez DeOch. She married Johnny Segovia on August 4, 1947 in Refugio, Texas. Mrs. Segovia resided most of her life in Beeville, Texas and was a member of New Life Church. Mrs. Segovia is survived by four sons; Luis Segovia and wife Margie, Arthur "Tootie" Segovia, Manuel Segovia and wife Karen, and Joe Segovia of Beeville, Texas, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her step-father, Encarnacion Villarreal. Visitation will be held at Angelus Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017. The funeral will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 21, 2017 at New Life Church with the Rev. Steve Perez officiating. Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Segovia, Ervin "Chris" Dickerson, Fritz Scotten, Adrian "Wordy" Morin, Tommy Ponce, and Jeremy Jump.
