Guadalupe Herrera

Guadalupe Villesca Herrera, 65, of Skidmore, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015. Ms. Herrera was born March 23, 1950, in Dilley to Feliciana (Zambrano) and Manuel Villesca. She was a housewife and a Catholic. Survivors include her companion, Adan Castillo of Skidmore; a son, David Herrera of Skidmore; daughters, Maria Christina Herrera of Mathis, Angelita H. Espinosa of Sinton, Elida H. Reyes of Corpus Christi and Mary Ann Herrera of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Juana De La Rosa of Mathis and Julie Stewart of Mississippi; and her mother, Feliciana Zambrano of Mathis. Visitation was held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Tynan with Father Thomas Goodwin officiating. Burial followed in Waldheim Cemetery in Tynan. Pallbearers were Lorenzo Gomez, Frank Flores, John Paul Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Joshua Garcia, Michael Espinoza, Jose Herrera and Caleb Munoz. Angelus Funeral Home
