Graciela Gomez

Graciela "Gracie" Cardenas Gomez, 49, of Beeville, died Monday, Jan. 25, 2016. Ms. Gomez was born Nov. 22, 1966, in Beeville to Aurora (Cardenas) and Manuel Gomez Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic church and enjoyed playing Bingo, casinos and baking. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Gomez Sr.; and sister-in-law, Gloria Gomez. Survivors include her mother, Aurora Cardenas Gomez; a son, Isiah Jeremiah Lee Gomez; a sister, Daisy (Michael) Gomez; two brothers, Manuel Gomez Jr. and Bobby (Estella) Gomez Sr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 29, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Angelus Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, at St. James Catholic Church with Father Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Lupe Gomez Jr., Jesse Gomez, Bobby Gomez Jr., Brady Gomez, Matthew Gomez, Tony Gomez and David Lee Sayre. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Gomez, Richard Gomez, Jr., Christina Gomez and Elizabeth Ortega. Angelus Funeral Home
