Feliz Serna

Feliz (Saenz) Serna, 67, of Beeville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, lovingly surrounded by her family.

Feliz was born November 3, 1951 in Beeville to Andres and Elva (Gomez) Saenz. She was a homemaker and member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andres G. and Elva G. Saenz; and two sisters, Nilda Gonzales and Mary Saenz.

She is survived by her husband, Jesus Serna of Beeville; a sister, Biolanda (Guillermo) Salazar of Beeville; two brothers, Daniel (Elvia) Saenz and Alverico Saenz (Ruby Garza), both of Beeville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at Angelus Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jacob Valayath officiating. Burial will follow at San Pedro Cemetery in Clareville.

Pallbearers will be Alverico Saenz Jr., Brandon Saenz, Armando Gonzales, Edwardo Longoria, Luis Vasquez and Mike Garcia.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Vasquez, Joe Gonzales, Pedro Longoria, Jamie Gonzales, Julio Vasquez and Daniel Maldonado.
