Emily Benavidez

Emily Eusebia (Campos) Benavidez, 42, of Beeville, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Emily was born April 13, 1979, in Beeville, to Epimenio and Juanita (Moreno) Campos. She married Johnny Benavidez on April 11, 2006. Was a graduate of A.C. Jones High School (class of 1997) and worked as a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Epimenio and Juanita (Moreno) Campos; two brothers Alex Campos and Epimenio Campos Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Benavidez; six children, Jerry Hernandez, Daisy Dominguez, Lilly Benavidez, Iviey Benavidez, Cody Perez and Clover Campos; six sisters, Cruz (Mario) Gutierrez, Nora Benavidez, Lucy Moreno, Martina (Jase Suniga) Moreno, Juanita (Ignacio) Guzman, Ava (Roland) Arzola; two brothers, Epimenio (Sandra) Campos III and John Campos; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 6, at Angelus Funeral Home in Beeville.

Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 7, at Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville.

Pallbearers will be Martina Moreno, Michael Campos, Epimenio Moreno, Mark Gutierrez, Christopher Campos, Jerry Hernandez, Jessie Gutierrez, Ricky Campos.

Donations for funeral expenses will be accepted and payable to Angelus Funeral Home.
