Dolores Hernandez

Dolores Hernandez, 89, of Beeville, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015. Mr. Hernandez was born May 7, 1926, in Pawnee to Esmerejildo and Guadalupe Hernandez. He married San Juana Abrigo Hernandez in Refugio on Dec. 22, 1958, and was a retired rancher and construction worker. He was a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his parents and a half brother, Bernabe Segura. Survivors include his wife, San Juana Hernandez; a daughter, Margarita (Louis) Segovia; a son, Felix (Lisa) Hernandez; five grandchildren, John Kuykendall, Robert Moreno Jr., Adrian Hernandez, Gabriela Hernandez and Desiree Hernandez; 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Felicita Segura; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Sept. 4, at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Pallbearers will be Adrian Hernandez, Marcelino Gutierrez, Austin Trevino, Robert Moreno Jr., John Kuykendall and Jordan Henke. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Llamas, Enrique Salazar, Baldo Salazar, Trino Salazar Sr., Juan Salazar Jr. Lupe Salazar and Willie Salazar. Angelus Funeral Home
