Daniel "Danny" Del Bosque, 76, passed away peacefully at his home in Beeville, Texas, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Danny was born January 19, 1949, in Skidmore to Theodore Del Bosque and Maria (Cantu) Del Bosque. On August 1, 1977, he married his beloved wife, Anjelita "Angie" Yzaguirre. He was a dedicated member of the oil and gas industry and enjoyed a fulfilling career until his retirement from Aztec Chevrolet. Danny was known for his deep commitment to his faith and community. He was an active and faithful member of both St. James Catholic Church and the Our Lady of Victory Choir, where he shared his passion for music with others. His family was his greatest treasure, and he cherished every moment spent with them especially his grandchildren. He was an avid fan of his No. 1 football team, the Dallas Cowboys, and also loved to fish, activities that offered him much happiness.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Del Bosque and Maria (Cantu) Del Bosque; and a brother, Leobardo “Lee” Del Bosque.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Angie Yzauirre; two daughters, Carolina (Del Bosque) Hargrave and Raquel (Del Bosque) Huebner; three sisters, Dora Lara, Crissy Simmons and Josie (Josh) LeBlanc; a brother, Don (Karlee) Del Bosque; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a proud grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Bradley Huebner and Brooke Huebner.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Angelus Funeral Home in Beeville with a Rosary to be recited at 7 o’clock.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jacob Valayath officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore.
Pallbearers will be Don Del Bosque, Galen Hargrave, Jacob LeBlanc, Reno Del Bosque, John Ybanez and Chance Odell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bradley Huebner, Theodore "Teddy" Del Bosque and Robert Del Bosque.
