Consuelo (Luna) Gonzales, 84, of Beeville died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010. She was born in Live Oak County on Feb. 18, 1925, to Tomas and San Juanita (Perez) Luna. She married Geronimo Gonzales on July 21, 1945, in Karnes City. She was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Geronimo Gonzales of Beeville; three daughters, Florinda (David) Gonzales, Dominga Buckalew and Mary (Ron) Fritz, all of Beeville; three sons, Gilbert (Amy) Gonzales, Ray (Debbie) Gonzales and Geronimo Gonzales Jr., all of Beeville; three sisters, Dale Rodriguez of Luling, Frances Tijerina of Bayside and Alfonsa Pe�a of Beeville; two brothers, Valentin Luna of Beeville and Leo Luna of Albuquerque, N.M.; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Esperanza Rodriguez; three brothers, Tomas, Juaquin and Rafael Luna; and a son-in-law, Don Buckalew. Visitation was held from 3 to 9 p.m. on Monday at Angelus Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7 o'clock that evening. The funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Father Eddie H. Garcia officiating. Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Abie Gutierrez, Paul Gonzales, Lee Gutierrez, Jeramy Fritz, Darrick Buckalew and Julius Gonzales. Angelus Funeral Home
