Carolyn Casas

Carolyn Marie "Chona" Casas, 43, of Beeville, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014. Ms. Casas was born Oct. 9, 1970, in Beeville to Juanita Morales and Margarito Casas. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dominga and Ernesto Gonzales; paternal grandfather, Andres Casas, two aunts, Seneida Saldiva and Virginia Gonzales; and an uncle, Juan Gonzales. Survivors include her mother, Juanita (Adolfo) Morales of Houston; her father, Margarito (Maria Gonzales) Casas of Beeville; her husband, Hector Espinosa of Beeville; brothers, Margarito (Kimberly) Casas Jr., Rosendo Casas, Andrew (Avelisa) Casas and Christopher Casas, all of Beeville; paternal grandmother, Lupe Zuniga of George West; aunts, Carmen Casas, Norma (Arturo) Banda, Rosalinda Vasquez, Eva Casas, Victoria (Tony) Moreno and Lisa (Daniel) Gutierrez; and uncles, Richard (Nilva) Gonzales, Ernesto Gonzales and Joe Casas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 2 to 9 p.m. at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited there at 7 o'clock. A chapel service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at the funeral home with Deacon Luis Trevino officiating. Burial will follow in George West Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Derrek Sanchez, Robert Lee Gonzales, Lee Roy Saldiva, Juan Casas III, Juan Gonzales Jr., Lorenzo Banda, Pedro Luera and Joe Adam Garza. Angelus Funeral Home
