Bruce Mccumber

Bruce McCumber, 86, of Mathis, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019.

Bruce was born October 3, 1932, in Live Oak County to Simeon Lewis McCumber and Ola Louise (McNeil). He married Nancy Griffin in Mathis. He was in the agricultural business and was a rancher.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Nancy McCumber.

He is survived by his children, Rick (Cindy) McCumber of Huntsville and Tyler (Robin) McCumber of Dinero; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ardis Bea McCumber of Lagarto and Genevieve Montgomery of Corpus Christi, Texas.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Lagarto Cemetery with Pastor Pat Traxler officiating.

Pallbearers will be Pete Fox, Charlie Tindol, Bill Banner, Leonard Fluitt, Leo Casas and Brad Hennig.
