Alejos G. Posada, 79, of Beeville died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011. Mr. Posada was born Sept. 11, 1932, in Bee County to Jesus and Cristina (Guerrero) Posada. He married Julia Zambrano in Beeville in 1950, and was a truck driver by profession. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a member of the cursillistas. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Julia Zambrano; a daughter, Esmeralda Posada; two sisters, Elena Garza and Sofia Escobedo; and three brothers, Rosendo Posada, Jesus Posada and Adelaido Posada. Survivors include four children, Petrita (George) Sinback of Lakeland, Fla., Crestina (Dwayne) Key, Antonio Posada and Ernesto (Margarita) Posada, all of Beeville; special friend, Anita Ruiz of Beeville; three sisters, Antonia Segovia and Miquela Zambrano, both of Chicago, Ill., and Eugenia Gonzales of Mount Pleasant; one brother, Gonzalo Posada of Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited there that evening at 7 o'clock. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial will follow in Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Antonio Posada, Ernesto Posada, Jeremy Posada, Juan Rincon, Joe Angel Posada and Dwayne Key. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Henry Alaniz and Doroteo Castillo. Angelus Funeral Home
