Adan Castillo

Adan Lopez Castillo passed away on January 21, 2015 in Georgetown, TX at the age of 79. He was born on April 20, 1935 in Normanna, TX to Romullo Castillo and Camilla (Lopez) Castillo. He married Pauline Gonzales on April 29, 1957 in Beeville. He worked as a groundskeeper with the Naval Air Station in Beeville, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Romullo and Camilla Castillo; brothers, Domingo Castillo and Isidro Castillo; sisters, Gila Castillo, Antonia Guajardo, Victoria Salazar, and Virginia Galindo. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Pauline Gonzales Castillo; daughters, Oralia Santellana and husband Hector R. Santellana, Sr. of Round Rock, TX, and Margarita Mendoza of Houston, TX; grandson, Hector Roy Santellana, Jr.; granddaughters, Veronica Kay Castro, Valyn Louise Mendoza, and Heather Rae Martinez; great granddaughter, Leticia May Santellana; great grandson, Hector Roy Santellana III; great granddaughters, Mia Faith Castro, Sophia Grace Castro; great grandsons, Christopher Luis Castro, Benjamin Adan Martinez, and Maximo Andres Martinez; and sister, Zulema Ramirez of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews located in the valley, Houston, San Antonio and throughout the U.S. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Angelus Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Angelus Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Paul Kottachal officiating. Burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Hector Roy Santellana, Jr., Hector R. Santellana, Sr., James Castro, and Hugo Archibaldo Martinez, Jr., Ernest Gonzales, Toby Ramirez, Tello Guajardo and Joe Gonzales, Sr..
